A second night of auditions coming up tonight, this time in David Cook’s home town. I’m ready to  go head-to-head again with Brad. The snarkfest begins at 8.

Brad should feel right at home, he’s from Missouri.

Woo! Jason Castro! <3 Jason

Chelsea Marquadt. She describes herself as powerful. Powerfully bad maybe. Not surprising she gets no’s all around.

Ashley Anderson. She messes up the words to a song that Simon wrote. Not a checkmark in the positive column. But she starts over and she’s got a solid voice. She goes through.

Casey Carlson. She has an interesting quality to her voice. Everyone likes her and she goes to Hollywood.

Brian Hettler. Lose the chain and cover up the chest hair. No one should tackle Aretha. Get him out. And he says he tried to get into a musical conservatory. Yeah. Riiiiiight.

More bad singers.

Von Smith(?) I love his voice. He’s through.

Jason Castro’s brother, Michael. He’s punk to Jason’s hippie. He started singing 20 days ago. I think he’s lying. I like him. Hollywood bound.

Matt Breitsky. Nice, but nothing spectacular. He goes on. Simon teased him.

Jasmine Joseph. Nooooo. Sorry someone already did this song. And way better. Bye-bye.

Jessica Paige Furney. Tackling Janis with deep soulful voice. See you in Hollywood!

Asia McClain and India Morrison. Asia sucks. India can sings. India is through.

Jamar Rodgers. This is not a song you shout. But somehow he’s through.

Danny Goetke. He lost his wife 4 weeks before this audition. Will he get through the pain? I love his falsetto. Randy calls him one of the best.  Paula agrees. He’s through!

More bad singing.

Anoop Desai. I love his tone. Hollywood bound!

People mangling Stevie Wonder. Brainbleach plz.

Andrew and his cheerleaders get a no.

Asa Barnes. He does the King of Pop justice. Hollywood!!!

Michael Nicewonder. You’re not in school  anymore dude. Yeah. No. Why, Simon? WHY?????

Dennis Bringman. He does Chris Brown better than Archuleta. He goes through.

Mia Conlan. Where’s the mute button, plz????

Lil Rounds. WOOOOOOW. YES! YES! YES! Hollywood baby!!!!
