Brad Pitt has been opening his wallet lately for good causes. He and partner Angelina Jolie pledged two million dollars to help fight tuberculosis and HIV/Aids in Ethopia (home country of their adopted daughter Zahara). But Brad has just given the largest donation from a prominent figure in the entertainment industry to stop the California ballot initiative that would ban gay marriage; $100, 000. “Because no one has the right to deny another their life even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8,” said Pitt, who gave to the group Californians Against Eliminating Basic Rights, said in a statement. Two years ago Pitt said about his own much-speculated-upon relationship with Jolie, “Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able.”
More spoilers from Smallville thanks to Erica Durance (Lois Lane). There will be a small amount of angst when Lana returns in episode ten and creates a brief triangle. Lois will also be dealing with her breakup witl Oliver Queen. She will also have lots of scenes with her cousin Chloe (Allison Mack) and quashes rumors that Lois will be pushing Clark into a relationship with Chloe (much to this bloggers dismay).
