Blogging 101 and Memes

I had been thinking about adding content just for the fun of it here, and a meme seemed the way to go. With memes on my mind I for some reason started Googling them which lead me to this little tidbit

Live CSS Edits

If you are tweaking Blog or Other website themes CSSVista is awesome tool I wish had found weeks ago. I know the Mac people will cry about this windows only program which allows you to load your site into Explorer or Firefox and edit the CSS code on the fly. Sorry Mac people once again you lose in the cool software department.

Tech Issues

still having tech issues

just an update still having tech issues with all my blogs, but too depressed to care at the moment.

a bad 2 days

It has been a bad two days.  People who are bipolar will no what I mean.  When i tell people I live without meds and just roll with the punches most people get freaked out.  People who only know about bipolar disorder from what they hear in celebrity news are either in awe that you are like those celebs or are waiting for you to do something stupid that celebs like to blame on being off their meds.  People who have their condition under some modicum of control with meds can’t understand why I would choose to live with the madness.  i don’t know why sometimes either.  The clinicians who tell me this is a bad idea always seem like they are just waiting for me to fail.  There is no guarantee I will live a normal happy life under meds, most of us don’t.  I can sit here and tell you all of my reasons for not using them from hating the medicated feeling and reliance on a pills to stop the head swirling thoughts, or the fact I know control is an illusion .  My biggest reason is really fear.  I am not afraid to feel normal, in fact I feel normal most of the time.  I have been down the road of medication and it works, until you lose your insurance.  I have no guarantees how long my insurance will last.  While I can’t guarantee a new course of meds will make me feel better all the time, I do know as soon as I get on them if they pull my insurance I am royally fucked.  I won’t be able to afford the treatment and withdrawal actually does make you want to die.  There are days I don’t care much about living, but I certainly don’t want to die, so I live with what is thrown at me day after day.  Some days are just truly bad, but if I am strong enough I will make it through them.  I don’t know how many more minutes, hours or days I will feel like this, but I know it will change so I push on.

Please explain this

Would someone care to try and explain this?  I just received a check from my insurance company for forty eight dollars and change as an over payment after having had the policy which costs three sixty something for six months of insurance on my truck. for about a month.  I have never had an at fault accident in seventeen years of driving and have a perfect driving record, not even a speeding ticket ever at the age of thirty three.  I have added my wife to this policy, she was out of town when I bought the truck and didn’t have her license on me so I couldn’t add her to the policy at the time.  This is our only vehicle mind you.  She has had her license for going on two years at the age of thirty one.  I am not complaining about the refund but I can’t quite figure out how or why the insurance should go down thirteen percent for adding a woman to the policy, especially one who hasn’t been driving for a fraction of the time I have had a perfect driving record.  Anyone want to explain this?

I am sitting here listening to Bleach wondering exactly how to fix the problems I am having with Technorati when I am confronted with serendipity. I can’t make my Tag Cloud work, so I click the Top Tags link back to Technorati. On a whim I click on Noelia and it leads me back to another Nirvana fan. Long Live Kurt! Noelia, my translation skills are poor, so I hope I get this next part right. ¡Usted es hermosa!

A Crazy Week

Tomorrow is my birthday and I can’t really say I feel anything. The last time I got excited about a birthday was when I turned thirty and my car insurance went down again. Nearly everything is moved in. I finally got an exercise bike and if I am tomorrow i will either buy a grill or a big subwoofer. Both of my other blogs are nearly online and I think I am getting the hang of theme arrangements and working with style sheets so look for a new look here very soon. Look for the Valley View blog to open up early enxt week and Fat No More to begin regular posts on the first of the month.
