I do not think it means what you think it means.

I am sick to death about hearing what the founding fathers intended when they wrote the Constitution from rich politicians, the fairly well off, the ignorant poor who are led around by which ever demagogue has captured their prejudice this week, but especially from women. You people know nothing or as usual choose to ignore the facts that right there for you to read. I will go through list in reverse order for simplicity’s sake posting on each topic over the next four days.

Part One:

Women, shut the fuck up and mind your menfolk, especially your fathers and husbands. That is what the founding fathers intended for you. They granted you no rights and could have cared less about what you wanted. Remember that the next time you invoke what the founding fathers intended America to be.

Before Rick Perry opens his mouth again about social security, food stamps, and other welfare programs he should ask himself what it would be like without these programs. Would cutting those off mean the people on them instantly had jobs and could support themselves? What would happen when these people find themselves hungry, hopeless, and destitute? The answer is pretty simple, we’d steal from those who have more, kill them if it were expedient, and go after the folks who supported the rat bastard that took away the safety net.

It is time those more affluent types that complain this isn’t the governments money but yours to realize welfare isn’t there to support the poor, the hungry, and those people you generally think of as low life scum. Social welfare exists to keep the mob from killing you. If you believe in the sanctity of human life, yours most importantly, you should think long and hard about whether eliminating welfare is in your best interest. If you think owning a gun will protect you from the mob you are wrong. A gun might kill the person in front of you trying to steal the groceries you just bought, but it won’t protect you from the person circling around behind you. When you are dead it is just one more gun in the hands of the mob. A gun might make you feel safe at home or even protect you from the burglar in the night. It won’t protect you from the people who set your houses on fire because they too need to feel vindicated.

What is your life worth to you?

I will take this opportunity to tell you I am holding back no punches and taking the fight to the most shortsighted idiotic, fear mongering conservative racists in America like Rick Perry, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and their supporters who would dismantle America and bring in the theocratic totalitarian state hell bent on turning the rest of us and our children into products of the evangelical church. Game on!

We’re learning more about what it’s like to be Joe the Plumber everyday: A new study by Joel Slemrod of the University of Michigan and Andrew Johns of the Internal Revenue Service finds that misreporting of income and tax liabilities is highest among the rich.

Ask any of us poor slobs who lies most about money and we will tell you it sure isn’t us. Why isn’t it the poor who lie, because we have nothing to gain by lying about our income. Saying we make more than we do gains us nothing and under reporting often times means we will get even less money back at tax time.

Just A Sarah Palin couldn’t tell you where she got her news from she also can’t even name a Supreme Court decision other than Roe v Wade. you would have thought that the McCain camp would have at the very least prepped her for this question. Let’s here the queen of the non answer in her own words. (Joe Biden responds firsts to the question)

Watch CBS Videos Online

To be perfectly fair, she actually can’t name any she disagrees with. That however does say a lot right there, since I can’t imagine how many times the Supreme Court has ruled against Bush recently on the the matter of presidential powers. Even if she couldn’t name them by name I would have thought she could have at the very least said that recent one that did this. Maybe a little honesty about blanking on the name was a little much to ask for from the GOP firecracker. Maybe if her energy was spent being being humble rather flashy she wouldn’t come off looking like such an idiot. Of course to be fair she might really be as dopey as she sounds.

How many of you can name more than Roe v Wade? if you graduated from high school you should at the very least know the following even if you don’t know the significance of the case.

Dred Scott v. Sandford
Brown v. Board of Education
Plessy v. Ferguson
Schenck v. United States
Miranda v. Arizona

Anyone who wants to be President of The United States or VP should at the very least know Korematsu vs. United States concerning the executive orders.

Last but not least you would have thought someone so strong in their pro-life stance would also be able to tell you about Webster v. Reproductive Health Services, Planned Parenthood v. Casey, Stenberg v. Carhart, or Gonzales v. Carhart all of which deal with abortion. No, Sarah Palin couldn’t even tell you about these. She doesn’t have to be a legal scholar to be the vice president, but you most certainly should know about the cases important to any cause you claim to hold as dearly as she does pro-life. As it stands she doesn’t know enough to graduate from most high school government classes, and probably not even the eight grade or fifth grade levels of US history, yet she claims to be ready to be our Vice President.

(CNN) — Shortly after Barack Obama laid out his foreign policy
vision in Washington on Tuesday, presumptive Republican presidential
nominee John McCain criticized his proposals as naive and premature.

Of course what John McCain really meant to say is I am going to be the next president so Obama shouldn’t even be making policy claims for a job he isn’t going to get. While the polls can always swing back the other way, the 49% to 41% polls in favor of Obama, would suggest that McCain has attended the Bush School for Creative Reality and specialized in New Math.

Here are the facts. Barack Obama wants us out of Iraq and John McCain is simply a another Republican War Monger. It is time for McCain to give up his hopes and dreams of being involved in a winning war. I am sure that notion got him through some very hard times, but being shot down and taken prisoner doesn’t mean keep fighting until you beat someone. Throwing good money after bad, and sacrificing ever more lives for political points doesn’t make you a leader. It makes you makes you a school yard bully who doesn’t care who you hurt so long as you can keep deluding yourself you have the biggest dick and therefore you should win. (W has a big Dick as VP and look where that has gotten us!)

If John McCain thinks Barack Obama’s foreign policy is premature, then so is his own thinking that he is already president.

CHESTERFIELD, N.H. — What you pay in taxes has more to do with town expenses and revenues than how much your property is worth, said Jon McKeon, chairman of the Chesterfield Selectboard.

“The amount you’re going to pay is what you vote on in March,” he said.

About 75 people gathered in the gym of Chesterfield Central School to learn why the values of their houses went up 30, 40 and even 50 percent.

To explain the assessment process, the director of New Hampshire’s Property Appraisal Division and the district supervisor of the division’s western district were invited to the meeting.

The reason the values of so many houses went up during the recent assessment process, said Charles Reese, district supervisor, was because many of those properties were undervalued.

The new values are based on what homes were selling for six months before and after April 1, he said.

The assessor looked at the values assessed five years ago and compared it to actual sale prices over that time period, said Reese. In 2005, property values in Chesterfield were 30 percent below market value, he said, which the state compensates for through the equalization process.

Along the waterfront of Spofford Lake, he said, valuations were 57 percent of the true market value.

And though by 2007 those property assessments were up to 71 percent of market value, they still weren’t accurate, said Reese.

Those disparities
were a direct result of the increase in sale prices in the past few years, he said.

“We don’t establish your property value,” said Stephan Hamilton, the director of the Property Appraisal Division. “The market establishes the value. Buyers and sellers determine what that value is.”

Because of the reassessment, Chesterfield’s tax rate dropped to approximately $17.36 per $1,000 of value, down from $22.28.

In the village of Spofford, it went from $22.55 to $17.55.

How much people end up paying depends on town, county and school expenditures as well as what the state needs to keep operating.

The total value of properties in the town went from $387 million in 2007 to $553 million following the recent assessment.

Much of this was due to an increase in the sale price of waterfront properties and new construction, said Reese.

McKeon told the audience that 51 properties sold from January to September at a total value of $13.8 million. Under the new assessment, those properties were worth $13.3 million.

“In our opinion, the assessment that was done was done accurately and the sales reflect that,” he said.

The meeting became testy at times, with some in the audience contesting that the re-evaluation was performed inadequately.

Many roperty owners demanded that the Selectboard consider a more in-depth review of properties in town.

The firm hired to conduct the reassessment performed a statistical analysis and not an actual door-to-door review of each property, which would have cost the town at least $180,000 as opposed to the $60,000 statistical analysis.

“What if you’re wrong in this instance?” asked one town resident. “What if this is an invalid appraisal?”

“This is not a perfect system,” responded Hamilton, but people appeal their assessment “all the time.”

“If you feel you’ve been disadvantaged by this reappraisal, you have the right to ask the Selectboard for an abatement.” The proper way to contest your reassessment, said Reese, is to appeal to the Selectboard, which takes on the role of the board of abatement.

Town residents have until March 1, 2009, to file for reconsideration and the town has until July 1 to respond to those requests.

One resident accused the Selectboard of just throwing away abatement requests, which McKeon denied.

This was affirmed by John Hatfield, the man who oversaw the revaluations.

“I’m human,” he said. “And I make mistakes and I fix them. I look at every single abatement. I don’t throw them away and I make recommendations to the Selectboard.”

“These gentlemen we elected are our watchdogs,” said another resident.

If people were unhappy with their reassessments, he said, they could voice their disapproval at the ballot box by voting them out.

Others complained that their children and grandchildren could no longer afford to buy a property in town because of the increase in values.

“We don’t establish values,” repeated Hamilton.

Does that mean Chesterfield, because of its increased property values, would send more money to the state than other towns, asked several residents.

“That’s not a yes or no answer,” said Hamilton, adding “There are communities that collect more state taxes than they receive back from the state. I don’t know if that’s ture for Chesterfield.”

George is very disappointed in this surprise. W was hoping we were going to let him call a mulligan on the golf game that has been his presidency. Sorry George there are no do-overs or take backs you have had your two terms even if you wasted them along with trillions of dollars and countless American lives.

The big surprise around the White House is Scott McClellan doesn’t have nice things to say about big lovable George.

From USA Today:

President Bush “veered terribly off course,” was not “open and forthright on Iraq,” and took a “permanent campaign approach” to governing at the expense of candor and competence.

To be fair Scott also doesn’t have nice things to say about The Liberal Media Machine.

“If anything, the national press corps was probably too deferential to the White House and to the administration in regard to the most important decision facing the nation during my years in Washington, the choice over whether to go to war in Iraq. The collapse of the administration’s rationales for war, which became apparent months after our invasion, should never have come as such a surprise. … In this case, the ‘liberal media’ didn’t live up to its reputation. If it had, the country would have been better served.”

Well I think it is safe to say Scott won’t be invited to the W Presidential library or receive a complimentary coloring book either.

If it was I am sure her faith in the powers that be would prove the election unnecessary. This debate is about evolution verses creation though.

Surprisingly enough John McCain has been choosing the side of evolution when it comes to his politics. He goes along in his own little world unaware that anything is actually broken and needs fixed. The system will evolve at its own pace and take care of the richest. The weakest, meaning the poorest, will get screwed, simply because they don’t matter to him or his process of governing.

On the side of creationism is Barack Obama. He takes as firm a stand as any creationist that we need change and it is to be started by the guy in charge. Like the biblical God he wishes to smite down the unworthy, take his people out from under the thumb of foreign powers, and empower the lowest of us to be our own messiah.

When you go to the polls, you need to ask yourself if you can survive this economy moving along letting the world sort itself out, or do you need someone who can in with the seeds of change already planted.
