Clay Aiken, a papa, is proud of the baby boy he has with the executive producer of his last three albums, Jaymes Foster. The child, Parker Foster Aiken was born on August 8, 2008. Parker was conceived through artificial incrimination when Foster was 50 years old.

Aiken has an old southern family tradition that a son’s first name is a relative’s last name. His own name – Clayton – was his grandmother’s maiden last name.
Parker has dark brown hair (just like daddy) and has lungs as strong as his father.
While Foster and Aiken are not a romantic couple in the traditional sense, they do plan to raise the child together.
Foster and Aiken met after the American Idol star recorded his first album, “The Measure of a Man”. Foster’s brother, David Foster, has produced many of Aiken’s records. Jaymes Foster herself was the Executive Producer on the last three albums.
Aiken says that having a child has made him realize that he didn’t want to live a major part of his life as a lie. That is what led him to come out of the closet a month after Parker was born.
The singer is famous for coming in second on the second season of American Idol. Despite not winning the crown, RCA Records offered him a record contract and the rest is history. He has since made 4 records including his latest – “On My Way Here” – and done 8 live concert tours.
