Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter secretly tied the knot on New Year’s Eve. The couple who had been secretly dating for over a year (someone needs to tell them that, I read about their relationship on IMDB) were married in Big Sur according to sources. Hall plays murderous Dexter Morgan in the Showtime hit, Carpenter ironically plays his sister. Congratulations to them both!
Daisies fans can tune into NBC for a kind of reunion, but not until April. Swoosie Kurtz’s representative confirmed that she’s inked a deal to guest star on Heroes later this year in an episode penned by Daisies creator Bryan Fuller. This is good news for fans who are still waiting for ABC to show the last three episodes of the ill-fated Daisies.
In other NBC news, ER will be around for three more episodes. NBC ordered the shows and rumors are flying as to why. Could they be hoping for a return of a former star turned Oscar winner? Network and show sources replied with “No Comment” when asked if this extension was to allow for a possible return by George Clooney who we last saw when Julianna Margulies’ Carol Hathaway left the show.
Finally, ABC’s Private Practice is showing the Whedon love. They’ve had former Whendon alum’s Amy Acker (Angel’s Fred) and Alexis Denisof (Wesley) guest star and now they’ve acquired Amber Benson (Buffy’s Tara). Benson in slated to appear in the 18th episode which is tentatively scheduled for March.
