The Early Morning Meme

The baby is back to sleep, but I have already had a pot of coffee so fat chance of me returning to that state of bliss.  I really have things to do and memes aren’t one of them at the moment.  I have eight promised posts to make on three different blogs and another dozen plus I should get out of the way, and something in the nature of sixty that need done this weekend.  That is on top of the novel editing I should be doing since chapter eighteen through twenty two of Pack and chapter twenty four through forty of Flood are all crap.  I snagged this meme from Pharyngula.

With number one complete let me continue.  The rules of Brad’s Tiny World are pretty simple. It is my blog and I will talk about what I want and link to what I want. If I wanted spammy links to German Grandmas spanking Spanish Men, Dutch Girls doing Donkeys, or to the illicit trade in pain killers, antidepressants (which are the same things as pain killers if taken in the right quantity… oh wrong kind of pain), or in grandpa needs a boner drugs so he can get a chubby while watching watching German Grandmas spank Spanish men for watching those naughty, naughty Dutch donkeys, then I would put them here myself.  If you link to them I will site ban you.  The second rule of fight club Brad’s Tiny World is I am an agnostic  liberal and if you post Neo-Conservative Christian spam I will taunt you.  Third Rule, if you join the forum and make a welcome post your links will be live.  If you make four comments worthy of posting your links will be live.  Until this time though your links will be nofollow.

Six Random Things About Brad:

• 1984 by Van Halen is one of the two best albums ever.  No one does it like Diamond Dave and the boys.  There is no comparison between Roth and Haggar, it is Roth all the way.  While I don’t dislike Van Hagar, it isn’t the same and would never come close to living up to what was seen in 1984.
• Back in Black is the other best album.  There isn’t a bad song on the album and I will take it personally if you want to dispute that.  So what if you say every AC/DC song sounds the same to you, it is a awesome sound that Bill and Ted could never have aspired to make with Wyld Stallyns.
• I love making pop culture references.  People either get them or they don’t.  Those that don’t get them are certainly less cultured than me and need an education in modern times.
• I hate created curse words made up for no other purpose than to save someone from actually saying an existing one.  For all of you with religious sensibilities if God can know you intended to be a good person rather than the douche bag you spent your life being, then he knows you really meant to shout “god damn it” every time you said “gosh darn it” and lets not get started about all the times you said frick, freaking, or mentioned the “F Word”.
• I think we spend to much time and effort getting degrees, but not enough time becoming educated in college
• If the US government want to save the economy, they would hand every adult in the country one million dollars and twenty four months to spend it.  Then they would put in reserve $250k for every kid living in the country on Jan 1, 2010 and give them five years to spend it starting on their eighteenth birthday.
