Welcome Twitter Friends and Fiends
Update: If you have tweeted about being a high school student and are wondering, “Why they hell did this guy follow me?” I have an answer for you. My current novel in progress is about high school students, though not necessarily aimed at students. Following people helps me get in my characters heads, I would love to have you follow back and hear from you by saying ‘hi’ to @bradhart. If you don’t that is fine to and don’t worry I never use real people as characters in my novel. If you want to to know more about the novel or to chat about writing give me a shout.
Hi, I am BradHart on Twitter and this is my special introduction to people on Twitter. If you are wondering why in the world I followed you on Twitter it is most likely one of two reasons. The first reason I might have followed you is you follow someone I follow. The second reason is you follow someone who follows me. While there is no doubt I am trying to expand my Twitter network and though it my web presence (and ad revenue), that is really secondary to why I am on Twitter in the first place. I am on Twitter to meet interesting people. I don’t automatically follow people back nor expect to be automatically followed. I also highly despise automated DM’s. I occasionally tweet a sponsored link or ad, but it will always be a site I have visited and /or a product I think some of my followers would be interested in. I would also love to hear feedback on specific ad campaigns if you have something to say.
I already follow a bunch of people I am really interested in and talk to regularly. If you followed me or followed me back and want to keep my attention then talk to me. I check out the people who @ or RT. Simply put if you can’t respond to anything I say, I have no reason to follow you or know you exist, but if you say something to me I most likely will be responsive.
I am a semi-professional blogger, meaning I blog full time hours but don’t have quite a full time income from blogging. I am a father to two great kids, no matter what frustration I tell about in my various online postings Liam is ten and Sarah was born in November of 2008. Katy, my wife is also a big presence here on Brad’s Tiny World. As a regular contributor to the blog I merged with it was her desire to maintain certain tasks she had done before. We are also currently live blogging American Idol head to head. You can follow her on Twitter to get the full range of all things Katy.
Brad’s Tiny World is my flagship blog and can be best explained on our about page. As I said has recently merged with my pop culture blog, The Other Blog, so I can pay more attention to posting rather than how many places I am posting. I also run several other blogs that might interest you. Katy and I blog about Parenting at WTF Are We Going To Do Now. I also run Blogging For Noobs, a basic blog about blogging; How To Blog, A more advanced blogging blog; Poor Skills on how to start making money online.
I wanted to take the time to point out a few of our popular posts here that I think might be good places to start and give you a feel of What You will find on Brad’s Tiny World.

I wanted to invite everyone to check out my latest blogging venture PodCast Patrol. if you listen to a lot of podcasts and would like to tell us about your favorites come join the team.
Brad’s Tiny World is the culmination of two blogs I just didn’t have time to run separately, The Other Blog for Celebrity Rumors and Local News and Newspapers. I have attempted to keep the spirit of both blogs alive and well here. If you wish to contribute in some way please don’t hesitate to contact me.
