In a not to shocking move Wal-mart is throwing the weight their weight behind Republicans and attempting to scare their employees into voting for him. From the Wall Street Journal:

August 1, 2008; Page A1Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is mobilizing its store managers and department supervisors around the country to warn that if Democrats win power in November, they’ll likely change federal law to make it easier for workers to unionize companies — including Wal-Mart.
In none to subtle away of approving of the corporate giant, John McCain has announced he will be leasing himself to the fate of Slave-Marts choice of VP canidates.

Seems like Wal-Mart was right to worry because the Democrat ended up winning. I’m willing to bet now that Obama has won, you will not hear one bad thing about Obama coming from any Wal-Mart execs. Instead they’ll say he’s the right man for the job. That way, Wal-Mart can ride the Obama wave all the way to the bank. They’ll soon replace that price slashing smiley face with a picture of Obama.
