I dont like the idea of this Nano car. Traffic is bad enough and pollution is getting worse. Making car more affordable without controlling carbon emission is a no go. You just kill the earth more

The cited top speed is 75 mph, which means it could get on the freeway if necessary, but in my opinion with the 50+ mpg it gets in the city this is won't be necessary for most commuters.

I am all for giving making transportation cheap since most Americans won’t use public transportation unless they absolutely have too. The side of me that would like to see more use of it already misses the four plus dollars a gallon for gas. As soon a gas went back under two here bus ridership fell seventy percent.

Nana is a path breaking car. It makes transportation affordable. BTW did you know that there are more deaths because of car accidents in the US than in India so what safety issues are all of us talking about. Lets give the Americans what they deserve. Cheap transportation.
