Shooting at Jew Mueseum – BFD

Yesterday lifelong White Supremacist and Holocaust denier, James von Brunn, opened fire at the Holocaust Museum killing one guard and wounding others. That is the story we have heard almost constantly since it happened. Big Fucking Deal!
Because we are dealing a racist, a holocaust denier, and the Jews, we seem to care an extraordinary amount about this situation. This is a large part of what is wrong with this country. Yesterday, Holocaust Museum Security Guard Stephen T. Johns was just one of roughly forty five people murdered in the country. It was only news because of where it happened. While tragic for the family of Mr Johns, I am sure they would rather you remember him because he was a good guy doing his job to support his family rather than as the victim of a Jew hater.
Take a moment and think before you make a big deal about the wrong parts of this story. Every day 45 murders, 261 rapes, and 1153 robberies are committed. Each one of those crimes has a victim who is just trying to make it through their day. It is fine to take a moment to regret the death of one security guard. However, if you can’t take a moment to ask yourself what you can do for every other victim who didn’t make the news or to prevent future crimes then you are as unenlightened as James von Brunn.

Just curious:
“Every day 45 murders, 261 rapes, and 1153 robberies are committed.” Where? In all of USA?

Those are the most recent stats for the US. They are for calendar year 2008 and were released this spring.

There are so many bad people in the world, and I’m afraid the number increases every single day. Hope that our descendants can have a peaceful live.

Brad, I think it is a big deal to the family of Stephen T. Johns. I think his death means a lot to his young son who will not have a father to watch him graduate from school and possibly have a family of his own. I’m sure it will be a big deal to your family and friends if this happened to you.

You have completely missed the point. To them, his death is a big deal. To everyone else who makes a big deal about it, but don’t make big deal about all the other murders, rapes, shootings etc that affect people every other day of the year, they are simply being trendy and pathetic. If a life has any intrinsic value at all, then you can’t be angry about the loss of one here and there, you need to not just feel anger, but rant and rage against every single one that is taken.
As for where this happened, it is till no big deal unless you have become trapped by that institutionalized guilt for crap you had no part in that is currently so trendy. We should remember the holocaust for all the bad things not just killing the jews. I am sick and tired of hearing about those poor Jewish people who always get dumped on and have through out their entire history. As long as the Jews (or any other religious group) continue to believe they are “God’s Chosen” they deserve what every happens to them. If you believe you are God’s Chosen and something bad happens to you, you are either not the chosen people, fucked up and pissed God off and he is punishing you, or there is no god and you brought this on yourself by carrying on with your superstition.

Racism is a sensitive topic. Take for the recent case in US where the Harvard don is being arrested for suspected break-in.
