Spoilers Casting News And Other Tidbits

What’s Hot has been somewhat absent of late. That is mostly because the gossip mill has been kind of quiet and the tv and movie news not all that exciting. But as awards season starts to bloom, hopefully there will be a lot more to blog about. For now, here is some news from the world of television. Heroes, Privileged,  and Leverage spoilers herein.

All you Dead Like Me fans who have been waiting for the movie, your wait is over. Here is the official press release for Dead Like Me: Life After Death which will be released February 17th. You can get the movie by itself or for the ultimate collector, it will be bundled with the two seasons of the show which will have commentary from star Ellen Muth.

As we go into the new year, the networks will be trotting out all of their midseason replacements as well as new and returning reality shows (American Idol, Dancing with the Stars). For all the whens, wheres and hows, here is a link to a grid of the networks schedule.

Even though Elle was murdered by Sylar on Heroes, we still might see her. According to E!s Kristen de Santos a blonde in a new romance dies, but it’s really a cover-up and all is well. That could apply to either Elle or Daphne. Peter Petrelli will gain his powers back soon and of course the best news of all, Bryan Fuller is back on board as a writer.

Fans of Pete Wentz, tune your TV’s to the CW, the singer will be making a guess appearance on Privileged, according to EW’s Michael Ausiello. Sara Rue and Lauren Holly will both be making appearances on TNT’s new show Leverage. Rue will be on January 20 and Holly February 3.
