At the XIV Summer Games, Afghanistan –a country with serious domestic problems– lost 6-0 to Luxembourg. For the first time, soccer players from Afghanistan took part in an Olympic Tournament. Movie Review – Gulaal

And I thought that Anurag Kashyap had really excelled himself in Dev D, especially since messing with a proven classic can be a tricky proposition. He succeeded and eminently so! Barely had I recovered from that awesome movie that AK has unleashed another explosion of emotions with a relentless assault on our sensibilities. “W.” is Oliver Stone without teeth. There are no left-wing jibes at one of the most controversial US Presidents in history, nor is there much fair or three-dimensional exploration in to the character of George W. Bush.
