As we approach the seventh anniversary of 9/11 people still ask why. For many there will never be an acceptable answer. Not because there aren’t a lot of really good answers out there, but because their thinking is too confined to let them believe. When the next big attack on us comes, and believe me it will one day, these same people will be just as unable to believe they could be responsible for it.

I won’t say we deserved to be attacked in that manner. Those individuals who died had done nothing to deserve what they got or at least how they got it. We, as a political entity, had earned a big response.
