Top Seven after Six Weeks

Quentin Tarentino one of the masters of movie music from his great discussion of Madonna’s Like a Virgin in Resevoir Dogs to the music filled Pulp Fiction.  What will they the sing tonight, well we can rest assure what ever they sing there are still words Fox will forbid them to say… Let’s get it on.

Allison Iraheta sings I Don’t Wanna Miss a thing by Aerosmith.  After David cook sang this song last year she could be in trouble with voters.  Paula and Simon love her the others are forced to keep their mouths shut.

Anoop Desai is about to do something that we have yet to see done well. Everything I do I do for you.  He starts off very well, but Anoop isn’t Bryan Adams.  He is pulling faces at the end which I am sure Simon Cowell will hate.  Randy Jackson, “Anoop Dawg is in the house!”  Kara Diogaurdi thinks he has soul tonight.

Adam Lambert is going to be Born to be Wild.  With some electronic he rocks out with the Steppenwolf Classic.  His voice rips a great Axl Rose impression, reminiscent of classic GnR.

Matt Girard is picking something dangerous, a song he loves.  Picking Bryan Adams he risks following Anoop and that could be bad.  He will face the easy judges so I am off to get another beer.  Just remember alcohol always makes Idol sound better.

Danny Gotkey got bored and bought a guitar.  Thankfully he knows he better than to polay it on the show.  Singing Lionel Richie accompanied by a harp he is leaving a lot to be desired.  Endless Love was an endless performance of endless torture.

Kris Allen picks a movie that obviously means something to him and gets good advice from Quentin.

Lil Rounds finishes out the night.  Will we find her in dead idol storage after tomorrow’s show?  Singing the song that that Danny Gotke should have sang the last two weeks to have a moment, I am just going to let her sing The Rose and say what ever will be will be final tomorrow night.  Tune in for the run through from katy.
