WordPress 2.5 LiveJournal CrossPoster Plugin
Update 10-8-2008
The LiveJournal (Live Journal) Wordpress plugin LJXP has been updated by the the author and is hosted on Google. This version works with all versions of Wordpress and Wordpress MU through 2.6.2. I highly recoomend it if you still use your livejournal for anything. http://code.google.com/p/ljxp/
Update -
Any further blogging about blogging related issues is now done at http://www.bradtheblogboy.com for the sake of maintaining the purpose the focus of Brad’s Tiny World.
As the LiveJournal CrossPoster Plugin no longer appears to be supported by the author a workaround to support WordPress 2.5 was made by ShellyGirl a user of Google Code.
I have implemented her work around on my test blog with success. I do not know if the workaround file is stable for any version other than 2.5 so use it at your own risk. The version that works in 2.3.3 and lower is available at Google Code
I will continue to host lj_crosspost25.rar for WordPress 2.5 unless asked to remove it by the original author. Enjoy

Serious thanks for this.
Mary Robinette Kowal’s last blog post..Wordpress 2.5 and LiveJournal Crossposter
I am glad I could help. One of these days I will figure out why the myspace crossposter does work…
Thanks a lot for this.
Just wondering if you myspace crossposter plugin still works? also I can’t figure out how to set it up.Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ianthe’s last blog post..Revamp and start fresh
It appears MySpace no longer allows for any kind of off site access. I know several others are trying to get it to work still and I for one will be excited to see it happen. There is a new version of the the LJ XP and I host it at http://www.bradtheblog.com
If you need help getting it set up shoot me a message or ask in the forum over there at http://www.bradtheblogboy.com/forum/

Thanks so much for this! I was starting to regret the upgrade to 2.5 and this really made my night.
Thanks!

I have wordpress 2.6.1 and I have gotten the myspace crossposter to work.
The problem I have though is when I introduce the ljxp into the mix, then everything screws up on my wordpress and even I’m disallowed from being able to delete entries.
I’m going to test out what happens when I try to post with your upgrade (for 2.5) and hope for the best. If you don’t hear from me again, I have probably gotten it to work :]
Didn’t work.
I can get the myspace one to work, but it just doesn’t play nice with the LJ.
I have an art blog and I want it to include code when I crosspost, but I guess I’m just going to do it the ghetto way and nudge people with ping.fm when need be :[
Like everyone else, I can’t thank you enough for this post.
There is a new version of the LiveJournal (Live Journal) cross-posting plugin from the original author. It works very well.
Nice insights into this plugin, thanks for the info
